| Danyang flying park on Yangbang-san (elev. 535 meters, 600 meters) is located in Danyang-gun, North Chungcheong Province, about 3 hours from Seoul. The area has beautiful scenes with the nearby river and attracts many flying enthusiasts on weekends. The mountainous terrain helps create ascending currents and favorable winds for flying, and it has a convenient take-off field. Beginners may feel some apprehension landing because of the nearby river, but it is not really a problem. Nearby attractions include Sobaek-san, Danyang 8 Wonders, Gosu Cave, and Guin-sa. |

| Yangpyeong flying park on Yumyeong-san (864 meters) is located in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. One hour from Seoul, it is the most famous flying park near Seoul and draws many paragliding enthusiasts on weekends. The take-off field has convenient take-off conditions with wide and sloped land, also providing good landing conditions. Beginners may feel some apprehension landing because of the nearby river, but it is not really a problem. A 4WD is available for help in the take-off field.Nearby attractions include Yongmun-sa, Jungwon falls, and Yangpyeong plaza tour farm. |
